Founded in 1999, Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Haifu Medical) is a world leader in Focused Ultrasound Therapeutic Technology. Its innovated Haifu Model JC Series (JC300, JC, JC200) Tumor Therapeutic Systems apply high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to treat solid tumors such as uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, pancreatic cancer and liver tumor. The Technology has garnered major funding grants and the second prize in both the National Technology Invention Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award in China.
The core value of Haifu Medical is to follow the philosophy of Sir William Osler’s ideology “Diseases that harm require therapies that harm less” and striving to develop treatment methods that can minimize harm to patients.
Up till 2023, the JC Series of systems have got approvals in 44 countries and regions including CE (European Union), KFDA (Korea), NMPA (China), GOSTR (Russia) and are in clinical use in 32 countries and regions(including Mainland China), covering University Hospitals such as Oxford University (UK), Bonn University (Germany), as well as National Institutes such as N.I.
