Egypt HIFU Center - HIFUtumor

Egypt HIFU Center is the first HIFU center in Egypt, located at No.42 Abdel Rahiem Sabry Street, Cairo, Egypt. The area is home to more than 10 hospitals and many clinics, making it Cairo 's famous medical service area. Egypt HIFU Center is jointly established by four professors Mohamed Hamed,Mohamed Fawzy,Naglaa Abd Al-Raziek and Rania Hamdy who work at Cairo University in Egypt. It covers an area of 470 square meters and has 13 full-time staff. It is a high-end private clinic focusing on the treatment of various benign and malignant solid tumors by using high-intensity focused ultrasound surgical technology under the principle of evidence-based medicine. In 2016, the Center introduced the JC focused ultrasound tumor ablation equipment independently developed and produced by Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. It opened on June 12, 2017. As of March 2022, the center has completed the treatment of more than 350 patients with benign and malignant tumors, and achieved significant curative effect, which has won unanimous praise from experts in the field of interventional radiotherapy and tumor treatment in Egypt.

Mohamed Hamed

Prof Mohamed Hamed, MD, assistant professor of radiology and interventional radiology at Cairo University, Consultant doctor of cancer intervention at the Affiliated Hospital of Cairo University, member of the European Interventional Radiology Association,Vice president of International Society for Minimally-invensavie and Non-invensive Medicine(ISMINIM) from July 2017 to July 2021. Prof.Hamed has supervised 14 different thesis in different universities and has received different courses in Italy, Spain, Holland and China as well as sharing presentations in tens of conferences all over the world. He is currently having excellent experience in percutaneous tumor ablation techniques(RFA,MW,PEI,and IRE) in various organs. He has practiced widely cancer pain and chronic degenerative pain intervention,as well as bone augmentation. Lately he has been trained and licensed in HIFU technology treatment of solid tumors and gynecological disorders. Prof. Hamed is the chairman of HIFU Egypt, the first private HIFU center in middle east and Africa practicing HIFU non-invasive treatment of solid tumors.
