HIFU Centers

Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, Taichung was established in 1966. It is a large-scale comprehensive teaching hospital. The hospital is equipped with more than 1,300 beds and has opened 29 specialist clinics. In 2014, Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, Taichung introduced the focused ultrasound tumor treatment system developed by Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and established the HIFU Center. The physician team led by the president Ying Zonghe carry out focused ultrasound ablation surgery to treat uterus myoma and adenomyosis, bringing this non-invasive treatment technology that does not require anesthesia, does not require open surgery, does not bleed, and preserves uterine reproductive function to female patients. So far, the hospital has performed 600 cases of treatment, and attracted patients from more than 20 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Hong Kong, France, Singapore, and Brazil.
