Treatment —— Minimize harm to patients
The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. Over the past half century, the economic and trade relations between the two countries have developed steadily and achieved fruitful results. On April 18, 2021, the HIFU technology (high-intensity focused ultrasound) independently developed by Chongqing Haifu was introduced into Puebla in central Mexico, to help treat benign or malignant tumors and other diseases. On March 5, 2022, CGTN-Español broadcast an interview with Professor Wang Zhibiao, chairman of Chongqing Haifu and one of the inventors of HIFU device, and Professor Xing Ruoxi, who is the head of international academic promotion of Chongqing Haifu.
Professor Wang Zhibiao said that Chongqing Haifu’s mission is “to provide non-invasive treatment for human beings based on the original and independent innovation of focused ultrasound technology. His belief is that “treatment - to minimize the harm to patients” and he hopes that this technological innovation originating from China can bring the greatest benefits to patients.
Professor Xing pointed out that in 2016, Chongqing Haifu established a global collaborative service center for focused ultrasound ablation surgery, and this center is connected with 246 Haifu micro non-invasive treatment centers around the world. Through the collaborative service center, Chongqing Haifu can connect to the users’ hospital devices 24 hours a day and provide after-sales service at any time.
